Ruth, an American journalist, embarks on a journey to Poland with her father, Edek, to visit the places where he spent his childhood. The trip is intended to be a meaningful exploration of Edek’s past, providing Ruth with the opportunity to connect with her father’s history and document the experience. However, Edek, a Holocaust survivor, is deeply reluctant to revisit the memories associated with his early years.
